Macdonald High School is and always has been committed to offering a traditional well-rounded education in a safe contemporary setting. We believe that each and every student has the potential to be successful. Our community-based approach to education is based on the following principles:
All students have the innate right to be adequately prepared academically and socially in order to cope successfully with their life choices.
We believe that a student’s best chance of success will be achieved through the combined support of the teachers, resource personnel, administration and the whole Macdonald High community, which includes the parents and our various community partners.
We will endeavour to develop in every student, social skills that will reflect respect and caring for his or her educational partners. We believe in providing a variety of extra-curricular activities in order that the student body will continue to practice and to develop the skills learned in the classroom.
