Social Studies

Students in Cycle One study history and geography in order to gain an understanding of the world that surrounds them. The Cycle Two program focuses primarily on the history of Quebec and Canada in order to understand how our country was developed. The students benefit from interactive field trips, which for example take them to Parliament in Ottawa and the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City. Grade 11 students take Contemporary World, a course which examines modern issues and social trends around the world.
